2026 Lifelist Update

It has become an annual tradition to upload my recording lifelist early in the spring to add any species I added last year.  I didn't get any new ones over the Christmas holidays in 2025 since I was in New Zealand (not an easy spot to record frogs!).   But I did add a new lifer in early 2026 when one of my frogs from Trinidad in 2018 was identified on iNaturalist as Adenomera hylaedactyla by another iNaturalist user.   

So as the season begins in 2026, my recording lifelist is now at 143 species, in 57 genera, and 15 families.

Can I get to 150 species this year?  Headed back to Panama, so....maybe?
